I am optimistic for next year BUT we will not have a Clemsoneque walk thru

our competition. To me the Coastal is improving and nobody else is giving up so just saying we will be better with returning players means only that. Being better is still has to be relative to something and I think we have a recency bias with the final 4 games in that the best team is the one who beat us. We, with justification, assume they will be worse next year so there we are to take their place.

We received like 50 turnovers against Miami resulting in a large lead and still could easily have lost that game (came down to 1 play). UNC obviously was equivalent to a tie when it comes to declaring one team better than the other going forward. Another one play changes the outcome type of game. I really dont know enough about Pitt to say which way they are going but they cant be overlooked. UVA hopefully will be worse but if the foundation is laid (culture and confidence) it's hard to say that's a given. They played very well and aggressive against us so they will give us a game (in December of 2019 I would say VT at home is definitely the favorite).

BC it seems would need either its best or our worst to beat us next year (with a new coach and possibly whole new scheme). Finally, GT will be improved in my opinion but will be looking up at above mentioned teams.

My odds for next year for Coastal would be VT - 35%, UNC - 25%, Pitt - 15%, Miami - 15% and UVA 10%.
