Beams and Bud are gone. As much as I loved it, the family business is over. Having former players on staff is great. Hiring former players with no head experience is nuts in today's climate. Fuente has to hire a producer in recruiting and on the field. He's replacing a legend at a really awkward time for the program. It could cost him his job. He has no margin of error. We need to move onto finding guys that were born to coach. Great players do not translate to great coaches. All these former players saying they would join TG's staff just want to get paid like the rest of us. They see an opportunity and probably want to help. But they are Bud's guys and Fuente needs his guys. Sorry but that's our new reality IMO.
