SIR: TV announcers mentioned during the Pitt game that it


was the 1st time since 2005 - and 1st time ever against ACC opponents - that we had shutout the opponent in consecutive weeks. When was the last time we did it in 3 straight games? Did it ever happen under Beamer/Foster? TSL season recaps only go back to the 95 season and I didn't check hokiesports to go back further than that.
