Everybody leaps to their feet for the play. Everybody, that is, except for the guy straight across from me. He stays seated the whole time. When it’s over, he loudly says, “I’ll be GD. Here we go again.” Reached under his seat for something in a brown bag, takes a deep pull. His buddies had to physically carry him out by halftime.
