Was reading through a pretty long thread of loluva fans stroking their ego about their academic/athletic (excluding football of course) superiority to us (shocker, I know). A couple VT guys are over there going back and forth with them - but I've seen no mention of VT's recently announced billion dollar technology complex in Alexandria...

Got me to thinking - with innovation and tech engineering being the drivers of our economy, what, if any, will the benefits be in Blacksburg?

I'm Just wondering aloud what the effect this new campus will have on the home campus and more specifically the revenue streams going into the athletics programs.
