I see these games as an audition. You can start with Bede, PJ and Nolley.


Even though PJ has played well, I'm not so sure how much you can count on his offense.
So you're going to need offense from two others since Bede can't be counted on for more than 10 pts.
Cattoor has improved and hopefully Alleyne will. I believe room must be made for Cone even though he is smaller and he and Bede make a small backcourt. Radford hustles and Wilkins is struggling(or is playing like he did last year as a reserve). Kabongo showed flashes last year and JO shows athleticism and potential.
I believe good defense is essential(and is primarily effort after a good scheme). But there is no substitute for putting the ball in the hoop.
So we're going to have to find two or more offensive players who are not defensive liabilities to take some of the pressure off Nolley. That's the purpose of these non-conference games.
