The goal in the longer-term is to get more programs into the upper-tier of the conference that can give Clemson a run for their money. They're a great team. But they shouldn't be able to go through an entire season with no challenge save their own hiccup-game at Chapel Hole.

FSU, Miami and VT all have had success at the national level and can recruit. Louisville has had their moments in the recent past. At Tech, we used to regularly beat Clemson, and we have had some very good teams occasionally. There's no reason for the current trends to continue. Somewhere in this conference, a few teams have to rise up and make Clemson break a sweat.
