For those coming into Atlanta from out of town...

If you have time, Monday Night Brewing and Scofflaws are two breweries you should check out. 5 Seasons makes great beer and has a killer antelope burger. And the Hangook Korean Taqueria is a great place to grab a bite. They are a bit out of the way, but well worth the Uber ride. The Taqueria might look like a health department inspection disaster, but I promise I've never gotten sick and the sesame fries dipped in their chipotle ketchup are divine!

Park Tavern at Piedmont, and really any of the spots around Piedmont are decent places to go. Flying Biscuit especially for breakfast. Get something with the creamy, dreamy grits. Thank me later.

Landmark Diner at the corner of Piedmont and Roswell Road - another great spot. And if you want to drop some $$$, Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse in Buckhead near Lenox.

This will be my first in person VT game in ages. Past few years, fall weekends have been all hiking trails, mountains, deer stands, kid's soccer games, and home improvement construction. We live in the 'burbs northeast of the City, but have a friend that lives downtown to crash with. Gonna go down mid-morning, drop our stuff off, then start uber'ing around lunch time and make a circuit to Scofflaws at least and few others, then get to the game, maybe crash the VT Atlanta Alumni Chapter tailgate, watch Fuente get off the schnide vs. GT, then continue our uber tour of drinking and eating places before going back to the friend's place. I just need to not be too schnockered when we get back. Wife will want to stay up and have another drink or two with said friend before she's ready to have her final blitzing administered to conclude the night.
