Jamie told people in the program that Cash was going to reclassify and commit last November and then he suddenly stopped talking about it. After that, they brought him in for an OV the same weekend we brought in Quenton Jackson and Jonathan Aku. QJ would have committed on the spot but for some strange reason, he didn't get an offer even though he was described as a "perfect replacement for Ahmed Hill". That's 2 highly rated guys at positions of need that would have committed immediately and we didn't offer them? (I don't think Aku was offered either, but I'm not sure about that) Do I need to tell you where all of those guys are now? I'm not sure that the guys in the recruiting class would have been good fits for MY's system anyway and losing them is just what happens when a coach leaves, but there is plenty of evidence that Buzz was already recruiting for his next stop while he was at VT.
