You are absolutely right. VT struggled everywhere last year

- early departures, poor play by young players, some bad coaching decisions, etc. There are only about 10 teams that could suffer the kind of departures and injuries we had in 2018 and not be bad. The same thing happened to us in 2014 as well - after we beat OSU we had a ton of injuries. I still wonder what our record would have been in 2013 if Kyle Fuller didn't get hurt - he won the GT game for us that year.
