Certainly, the post game press conference by MY is a small sample size. But my sense is that he's enjoying being the HC at Virginia Tech, wants to answer the reporters' questions directly, and is not looking for a poor relationship with the local media.

Our former coach all but admitted that he didn't ever answer a reporter's question, but used the question merely as a vehicle to say whatever he felt needed to be said. And, of course, he was confrontational with the reporters (or one reporter).

Does this mean anything? Can a "nice guy" like MY actually prosper in the "big leagues" of the ACC? Count me as someone that is hopes so.
