And the more time spent teaching one philosophy only means youll have to start from scratch at another point down the road. It isnt as simple as getting closer to the ball handler as one might think. But the closer you get, the principles change away from the ball, your positioning changes, your responsibilities change both on and off the ball.

So either they are gonna roll with the current philosophy, or theyre gonna have to go through building a defense at a later time.
