I’m really confused now. And while I don’t usually look backwards, this

QB decision Saturday gives much room for pause. The RTD this morning starts talking about HH- not Willis- being ready, then quotes Fuente, “The bottom line was I couldn’t pull the trigger on putting him in. I just couldn’t. I’ve gone back and forth with it. He practiced all week. He didn’t take all the reps he usually takes, but he practiced all week and LOOKED BETTER AND BETTER EVERY DAY. I couldn’t come to grips with putting a kid out there that’s played in 2 1/2 games without the full complement of preparation time.”

So, you put a kid in that has played even less than that, with a compromised set of offensive plays at your disposal? Quincy and those kids on O really were amazing
given the circumstances. And the D played so hard. They did all they could I believe, but geez. I really think he’d have been better off not saying anything, because his shared thought process here is really bizarre. That was one coaching decision I won’t understand for awhile.
