The rules may be here to stay, but I've already left for the most part

Watched yesterday bc it was a big matchup, but i haven't watched much at all this season. The pf's, ejections, and overall pussification of an inherently violent sport has ruined the game.

The idea that if your helmet unintentionally glances off a player and you're elected is absolutely ludicrous. Ejections used to be very rare, and now they're commonplace.

Also, i just don't see any of the non-usual teams winning a NC again. Add in the NFL flag kneeling in the midst of all of this and giving up sunday football made taking back saturdays almost come naturally.

I think football is almost completely ruined now and will be finished off in a few years as the transfer portal grows and the proliferation of salaries and endorsements makes them seem more like a junior NFL league rather than a student athlete league, even though many of them are already students in the loosest sense of the word.
