with being naive. You're just not smart enough to actually understand the reality of the situation or understand how it really works. Nothing was ever said that California did not have any bearing but, had they been the only state the NCAA response is likely different. Mutiple states now in the pipeline and at least a few with far earlier proposed implementation dates than California's 2023 date. The NCAA does see it coming and everything they have done is a response to control the process not to stop it. There is plenty left to ponder and consider regarding implementation.
