I think most Hokies expect Fuente will try Hooker and then if he can’t go fully, turn again to Patterson.

If ND game plans for this, he may be ineffective and it wouldn’t at all surprise me to see major time from Willis especially if we fall behind by a couple scores.

And while I love Hooker as dual threat and QPs ceiling, I actually think Willis can still do well. I mean seriously, yes he turned the ball over a lot in a few games and he can’t make all the reads in the RPO but turnovers are somewhat random and he still has his strengths including a borderline NFL arm.

In this scenario, With Turner and Hazelton getting back to full speed, he might surprise.
