Back in the late '50's Tech had a starting center in baketball (for 3
years) who was good enough to get drafted in the NBA who majored in Chem. E.
Decided not to play in NBA (they didn't pay the big bucks they do today), but went to work @ Union Carbide .
I think that B'ball could be more demanding on your time than F'ball with so many more away games - especially during the week.
It can be done, but you better be a pretty smart dude.
