If I recall his GPA was right at about 2:0+. At least one poster alluded


to the fact that him being accepted at VT was marginal at best, and I believe one said it did not look like he would get in. Since he graduated from Clemson, I assume he needed to be admitted as a grad student which may have been an issue.
