I think at some point, we adults have to accept reality. The students are drinking before the game, and they leave early so they can continue drinking. I've been going back and forth with with James Madison fans (where my son is a student) .

There student section empties at half time. there are some naive parents that want to believe the students leave at half time to get some study time in before dinner or before they go to bed. But that isn't most students. The kids focused on academics probably don't even go to the game to begin with. But I say keep it fun, keep the party in Lane Stadium.
