In most cases, I do agree with you that VT will see opponents play


a lot of man-to-man defense. However, if VT decides to go small, then it may depend on what line up the opposing coach uses to counter the move. If the opposing coach counters with a big line up, then it may not make sense to go with man-to-man unless the "big men" have feet like Detlef Schrempf.
