beating the top echelon teams in his tenure. Duke & Carolina both hated playing VT which is more than you could ask of VT basketball. Add the basketball facilities and he did a lot for Tech. I was disappointed about the rumors and stories re: how he treated staff during his time here - those rumors did not uphold Hokie values. From my own experience at various gatherings, he was always gracious of his time with me and was easy to talk to in person.

All that said, I don't think it's up for debate that he's in the right place. he's one of the best college basketball commentators on ESPN in my opinion.
