Rain had just subsided, so don't say that adverse conditions would make a 13 yard field goal difficult.
It would require a massive choke for that fg not to go. Miami looked defeated. I doubt they would have been able to block the FG. They wouldn't be able to freeze the kicker. We jumped the gun scoring a TD on our first attempt.
If Miami got that TD at the end, they likely would have gone for two, with all the momentum on their side and after already converting a two point conversion earlier. And let me tell you, I don't think we would've been able to hold them out of the end zone. We took unnecessary risk.
