Notre Dame's Jalen Elliot is from outside of Richmond. He is a defensive


captain at Safety. I am fairly certain that both of his parents are Hokies. He would have been looking at schools about the time we were starting to slide at Beamer's end. I am not saying we would have snagged him over Notre Dame even during our heydey...but he is the type of Virginia player we seemed to snag much more often 15 years ago.
