Turning things around

Recently, all the discussion has been on what changes would be made, what the financial implications were, and when changes would be made. If VT ends up blowing this thing up, cleaning house, starting over from the ground up, now or a few years from now, folks just kind of assume that it will turn around then. I am not so sure that is guaranteed. This thing could go into a tailspin, for a long, long time, that nobody wants to take over - except for someone who is just looking for any chance to make name for themself, and then you are just rolling the dice, hoping for good luck. I had always assumed something would be done, get things back on track, but then I just got to thinking that maybe that does not happen. I know that is very pessimistic. Why am I wrong?
