This was in the midst of the fallout from.the Dummerville leg stomp that had EVERYONE including Virginia's governor up in arms and trashing Vick, Frank, the AD and the university to hell because he was allowed back on the team after the gang bang/rape incident.

Vick was only going to get a three game suspension but when Steger saw the license incident he ordered Frank to boot him while Frank was in flight to tell Vick about the suspension.

Steger and Weaver hung Frank out to dry leaving him to face the media alone while they stood to one side. Frank looked like a deer in the headlights.
