I think your last sentence is pretty much it. He came from an extremely


run-centric HS (90 passes total his SR year?) and because of that he had a steep learning curve with regards to our offense. All the praise and hype was contingent on him being able to pick up the passing game. That hasn't happened thus far. Why? I don't know. I doubt it's any one reason.
