There are a couple things that every Hokies football fan cares about. That's the bowl streak and the Cup streak. When those finally go, what will happen to this program? I talked to my dad, who was there for the probation years and he said that there were no fans and if there were, they weren't in school colors or jumping to Enter Sandman (obviously). That was with around 40,000 capacity. We have 26,000 more seats than that now that have the opportunity to be empty on gamedays. Is that really what we're heading towards? Is Lane gonna look more like 2018 Doak Campbell? I feel like I'm watching an empire crumble here. An empire of mediocrity, granted, but I'd take mediocrity over what we have now.
