I don't post much, but I'm a long term fan. The first live college football game I saw I'm pretty sure Frank Beamer played in. It was 1966 and I was very young. The score was VT 70 - VMI 12, and I couldn't understand why my family wanted to leave early. I've seen us be good. I've seen us be bad. What I've seen so far this year is a team that's probably going to get 3-5 wins and may be on its way to years of mediocrity.
I think there's enough talent to do better, but there's not enough talent to overcome the mistakes. We've got to be cleaner and I think that turn either comes tonight or it probably doesn't happen this year.
I'm not hugely worried about whether we win or lose tonight, but man I hope to see a team that has it's act together.
