I love the spirit but I just don't agree with most of your points.

Tyrod Taylor was good in 2009 as well - his turning point was the Nebraska game.

Boise State was way better than Boston College - that Boise State team lost once - to Nevada.

The JMU loss was AWFUL and inexcusable. We agree on one thing.

VT had three good running backs then - Williams (who was hurt most of the year), Darren Evans and David Wilson.

The only game where VT struggled to run the football in 2010 was the Boise State game.

235 yards a game running is fine. VT lost to JMU because of the turnovers and because the defense couldn't defend the read option.

VT's defense struggled in 2010 because of the new players in the secondary - Gouveia-Winslow, Whitley, and Morgan had their struggles early in the season.

Despite that - VT's secondary was better in 2010. VT doesn't have a corner like Jayron Hosley right now - he had 9 interceptions that year. VT's DBs had 22 Interceptions in 2010. How many picks does VT's current secondary have? 1?

So you are saying that Danny Coale, Jarrett Boykin, Dyrell Roberts, Marcus Davis, and Andre Smith were untalented? The five of them had 152 receptions for 2,316 yards and 18 TDs combined. Marcus Davis was 5th on the team in receptions and he had 19 catches. The RBs did a good job in the passing game that year as well. The RBs had 34 catches for 443 yards and 5 TDs combined. That is pretty good - especially since we had 30 TDs rushing that year. I wonder if our offense will score 30 TDs this year combined...
