I agree that this is a difficult balancing act. But to believe that athletes that generate billions of dollars don't "deserve" some payment while others get truly transformative wealth is not consistent with my values.

Not every athlete is generating money, of course, so that's the rub. I'd have to see the law to know how to feel.
