Given the contract buyout, firing him would make no sense.


you ride this out until at least 2021. It would cost five million to fire fuente now and three million after 12/15/2019. The buyout drop to 1.5 million in 2021. Potentially Whit has funds tucked away so he could fire him, but I'm not seeing it happen. We'll ride this train through the '21 season.
