4-stars are great. I love 4-stars. The more the merrier.
Do we have a dynamic, playmaking QB? That's the difference between being a middle of the road team and a good team. We don't, as far as I can tell, have a great QB on the roster. Think about all the years we've had the greatest success:
Druckenmiller, Vick, Randall, Taylor -- those were our QBs. We had guys who could make plays and win games. Willis had a couple of really gutsy games last year (UVA, UNC) but he isn't a "put the team on my shoulders" level QB. I'm not criticizing him. I love his attitude and guts -- similar to Brewer and Logan Thomas. They were gritty players who did all they could to help VT win -- but they just aren't at the level needed to win consistently. Does coaching have something to do with it? Of course. How much? I have no idea.
