Will is being pessimistic. If you look at the Furman gameplan
they run the ball twice as often as they pass it. They average 40 rushes and 24 passes per game in the first two games. That is key because their comfort zone is not passing based on their play calling. So if we can get a few stops early and a few scores on our end to make them play from behind, that gives our defense the advantage in attacking them.
And with their smaller size across the board, hopefully we finally see some TFL and QB pressure from the D line to help that process. All that said, if we don't win this by at least 21 points then we should all be very worried for this season.
