Much prefer McChain though. Iconic to me in regards to Hokie football and my childhood. Only being 2 decades old, he's the only PA Announcer I heard at Lane Stadium. From crushing games like Boston College 2007 to his best called game with UVA coming to town last season. He was there for nearly every game, entirely professional with very few hiccups. Gonna miss him a ton, if he's in fact completely replaced.

It pains me to hear that he was "forced" out. I would be able to handle this if he left on his own accord, but it really sounded like he was booted out for some other guy who doesn't have the same charisma as him. Horrible HORRIBLE decision on Tech's part.
