That's fair. But when you have no progress in this running game, why not
attempt the I-formation? Just for craps and giggles... We have a cupcake opponent this week. IF you get out to a comfortable lead, why not play around with some things like a new QB and new formation?
Could be a lot easier said than done. I'm making it sound like you can change a scheme you've been training with all summer (and last season) in a single game.
