A Kansas transfer is still from Kansas. He wasn't an Alabama transfer
like Hurts, or a Georgia transfer like Fields. He still came from Kansas and that speaks volumes. It feels like he's peaked and his peak isn't ACC caliber.
To me I don't care if the backup's can't challenge him in practice. When you're a redshirt senior and you're throwing INT's the way he did on Saturday you give someone else a chance. It would be different if the INT's were deflections or unlucky, but they were just bad throws. I can't believe the reason for not benching him is that you're afraid you would hurt his confidence. If he's that fragile that's a problem. It should motivate you to work harder and get your position back.
