I mean, the coaches have observed all the QBs in every practice, every scrimmage, every rep. We know Fuente prefers "predicted outcomes" over a gunslinger -- and yet, Willis (the gunslinger) is the starter.

It seems to me that either (1) the coaches don't know what they're doing or (2) internet fans who ask for the back-up QB to be the starter don't know what they're talking about.

The old adage about the back-up QB being the most popular player among fans is SO true. There's a reason he's standing on the sideline signaling in plays. If Willis continues to struggle, perhaps you'll get your wish -- but that won't be because Hooker is a high-quality starter but merely because Willis proves himself to not be one.
