to be happy with Mike Young's start and to be optimistic about the future of VT basketball. Young wanting to be at VT is pretty high up on my list and a pleasant switch from his predecessor, in my opinion. I felt people jumping all over the hire early on was bad form and premature. The flip side of that coin is things are still early in the process and it might be wise to show restraint and cautious optimism until he at least gets some live games at VT under his belt. To play off of Bill Parcells he appears to have done an excellent job with buying the groceries and it is now time to watch him cook the meal.
