If you add Hulu and Netflix, you will have way more to watch than a very basic cable plan.

After switching, my bill is $100. I added Hulu Live ($45) and Netflix ($12, I think). I already had Amazon Prime. So, I save about $50/month. Even though I have less channels than my cable plan, I have the ones I watch and I have way more content with Netflix and Hulu's content. I can take most Netflix content with me when I travel. Plus, I can turn it on and off at any time, no contracts.
