Dr. removed an infected bone from my foot last week and have been on strong IV antibiotics. 14 straight days with the antibiotics. If I had waited another 2 days before seeing him, I would have likely lost my leg from knee down. Don't mess with infections.

My doctor did my foot surgery in his group's surgical area rather that go the local hospital. He said he has several patients have surgery there at hosipital and come out with more problems with infections than they went in with. I live in the Lynchburg area too.
