I still consider an offer and an LOI a contract that you will play the sport for 4 years and the school will pay your tuition, room and board. I think for the majority of players that is a great deal, the few that are destined to play in the pros it may not be....the problem is the ones that aren't destined to play in the pros, but don't understand that, they don't realize how good a deal that contract is.
