The housing problem is only one of a multitude of issues this admissions management failure creates. Class sizes are already too large to be effective in many cases (I teach as an adjunct so I know first hand). Students can't get classes they want because sections are all filled. Parking is non existent many days in the primary academic region - and soon lots at West Campus Drive and Prices Fork will be gone for two more new buildings planned on those sites. Getting food at mid day is almost impossible if you just have an hour between classes. Lines are out the door in some dinning centers. So there is a complete leadership failure to provide adequate infrastructure for the students we had before the 1000 student oversubscription on admissions this year!!!!
