Omnibus answer

- Serious challenger for No. 2 QB spot - lots of guys there now.

QP will have run packages to give RW a breather. QP will not throw a pass longer than 9 yards down field. If RW is hurt or we are running away with a game, you will see HH.

- DB's learn how to tackle.
- Defensive tackle stars emerge.

I genuinely expect this to be better this year. 8 of our top 10 tacklers are returning this year. Guys get better with experience simple as that. Expecting break-out years from Reggie, Caleb Farley, Ladler and Dax.

- Cornelsen ups his game (in-game game).
Should have better weapons this year. RW will be in full command of the offense. Bummed to lose Kumah from the wide receiver corp, but WR position is otherwise stacked. As the season went on, Dalton Keene turned into a real weapon as a receiving TE. Expect that to dynamic to grow and continue from here.

- Bud back on the defensive.
Seems like Bud had a lot of non-football things going on. Also seems like there were a lot of off-field distractions and a lack of leadership from the team. Expect that to be better this year.

- Field goal kicker(s) range improves into the high 40's.
Bummed to lose Stout, but I think there were probably things going on in that unit that we don't know the full story about. Between Johnson, Quick and Romo hopeful that we'll figure this out. Romo was a credible KO guy and Quick was apparently a stud on FG and punting in high school.

- Bradburn punts one to Australia.
Bradburn was certainly one of the bright spots on special teams last year, but seemed to slip a little bit as the season went on. We'll see how this goes.

- OL gels.
No clue. Super excited about Doug Nester though. That guy is a beast.

- Cheerleaders perfect quadruple summersault (for BSt.).
Ditto no clue. Why not go for a quintuple?

- Most improved opponent this year (other than UVx).
UVx obviously.
NOT: ODU or Ga Tech.
Maybe: Miami? NC or Duke (if they beat us)

- How would you improve recruiting?
1. Football facilities suck and need to improve. This is something that loses recruits in head-to-head situations. This is on Whit. We have top 25 expectations, but nowhere near top 25 facilities. The environment of Lane is cool, but everything else is sub-par.

2. Big attitude and buy-in problems on the team last year. In good programs, the players help recruit guys in. They reach out to guys from their high schools and tell them to come to the school. Recruits talk to the guys in the position unit that they would be joining. The tone seems to be better this year we will see.

3. Just win baby.
