Cody Journell was ranked 3rd in his 2009 high school class by ESPN and got a scholarship from VT.

Walk-on Caleb Quick (R-Fr) was ranked 21 in kicking and 34 in punting by Kohl's. This is the same national camp that ranked Lowe 18th in 2020 class.


Jordan Stout (now gone to Penn State) was 35th kicker and 17th punter on the Kohl’s list.
Mark Applegate (2019 PWO) is ranked 100 in kicking and punting by Kohl’s. In Kohls system, 100 basically means “good, but not ranked”
Brian Johnson (R-Jr) wasn't ranked in his class, but probably didn't go to the national camps.
Joey Slye was ranked 100 by Kohl’s and walked on.
