You'd think that would make you informed about VT's recruiting history then

VT's made its living off of off-the-radar guys forever.

Who wanted Sam Rogers? Who wanted Kam Chancellor? Who wanted Cody Grimm? Who wanted John Engelberger? And on and on and on.

Again, I'm not saying EVERY recruit that is not highly ranked is going to be some incredible sleeper (I'm quite aware that higher-ranked guys have a better shot at panning out), just that dismissing him based off his current offer list seems shortsighted.
