The younger Hokies don't know what it was like back in those pre-Beamer


days. Most of the Virginia press tended to turn their noses up when it came to reporting on VT football. Tech could post a nice win and all the papers would report on is how the Hoos showed promise in their loss to whoever. It was incredibly annoying.
