Or, we don't waste energy worrying about things outside our control...


I love VT football. I want VT to do well. I'll cheer on our Hokies this fall (like every year) -- but why worry about recruiting? I can't control it or even influence it? Aren't there far more important things to worry about? I guess I'm from the Chicago Cubs school of fandom. I'm not apt to get very angsty about recruiting issues or even season performance. I know the coaches, players, and support staff are doing their best to be successful -- so I applaud their efforts and hope for the best. I have no problem critically evaluating successes and failures -- but I'm not inclined to worry about any of it. What would be the point of that?
