My degree in Business Administration was followed by a law degree from William and Mary. My teammate and roomate just retired as National Sales Manager for a major corporation. Other football teammates got degrees other than "football " and have done very well. Most guys that I played with have gone on to be very successful. We didn't water down the value of anybody else's degree in the slightest. A lot of lessons in sports translate into success elsewhere.
