Overall academic ratings don't always equate to specialized fields. When I'm hiring someone, academic rankings matter very little in evaluation. I'm checking for what degrees, certifications, skills, and experiences they have.

My point wasn't to say Tenn > VT, just that it might reflect well to have varied educational experience in their background.
