They have under Bronco clearly embraced challenge of ending streak of futility vs VT. Had best shot last fall and fell short. However, I am not sure I can recall one recruit since CJF & Bronco arrived where two schools competed head to head.

Maybe, that is reason for academic reference. As they have been for the most part mining a pool of less highly touted recruits than VT and relying even more than us on evaluation, fit, character & player development to "compete". Seems to me results so far are good when compared what Mike London accomplished, but jury is still out on whether they can sustain annual 6-8 wins with any consistency or rise above what they achieved last season.
